New Black Belts Join the “Karate Academy” Community: A Historic Visit to Lithuania by ITKF Legend Justo Gomez
The international karate legend, multiple-time world champion Sensei Justo Gomez (Argentina, ITKF), made his first official visit to Lithuania. This visit marked the culmination of a long-standing partnership: the head of the club, Rytis Bublevičius, and Justo Gomez have known each other on the international stage since the 2007 ITKF World Cup, where they both competed in an elite tournament featuring the world’s top 8 ranked athletes. For six years now, they have been jointly invited to instruct at prestigious “Gasshuku” camps, and the master’s first-ever visit to Lithuania became an invaluable experience for the participating Lithuanian and Polish karate clubs and the KA club.
During the visit, intensive seminars were held, which concluded with top-level mastery examinations. Following rigorous testing, new black belt masters officially joined the “Karate Academy” community and advanced their mastery ranks:
- Markas K. – 1st DAN
- Linas K. – 2nd DAN
- Sergejus K. – 3rd DAN
This exceptional event was excellently organized by the Lithuanian Traditional Karate-Do Federation. Congratulations to the new masters, and we wish them to continue tirelessly walking the path of karate!
